I am a former diplomat to the USSR and Eastern Europe, an American professor of political science, international business and law, international affairs, and security studies, and an international trade and security consultant, currently living and working as an advisor, researcher and analyst for a variety of Romanian public and private officials, as well as EU parties and projects. I shall be addressing the Bucharest Conference tomorrow (Friday, June 19) on NATO security as a “special guest speaker”; but I was struck by the presence and intrigued by an appearance I caught earlier today of Anca Opre(a)?, and my interest piqued in communicating with her and perhaps meeting her to learn more about her party, programs, and policies.
